Fruit Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1 (20 oz.) can chunk pineapple
1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches, drained
maraschino cherries and juice (for color)
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Combine all
ingredients in a double boiler; cook until thickened and smooth.
(One
or
two
tablespoons of brandy or whiskey may be added.)
