Swedish Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    Dash of salt
    1 lb. shelled pecans
    1/2 c. butter
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Put nuts on 11 by 15 jelly roll pan in oven to warm.
    Meanwhile, make meringue by beating egg whites; adding sugar and salt.
    Fold nuts into meringue.
    Melt butter in same jelly roll pan.
    Spread nut mixture in melted butter.\tBake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
    They are done when nuts are dry, brown and crispy.
    Store in tin and place in refrigerator or freeze.
