Apple-Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/3 c. Crisco oil
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sifted plain flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. chopped apples
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts, chopped

Preparation

Cream together oil and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Beat until fluffy, then add flour, soda and salt.
Mix this well and add remaining ingredients.
Mix well.
This is a heavy batter.
