Mexican Pea Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 can peas, drained
    1 small can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    8 oz. pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 can Durkee French onions (save 1/4 can for topping)
Preparation
    Butter casserole.
    Heat soup.
    Mix in other ingredients.
    Pour into casserole.
    Bake for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Top with remaining onions and bake about 10 to 15 minutes more.
