Black Bean Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. dry black beans
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. celery
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
4 c. chicken broth
1 tsp. ground coriander
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 to 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
3/4 lb. fully cooked smoked turkey sausage or Polish sausage, chopped
3 Tbsp. dry sherry (optional)
Preparation

Rinse beans in a large saucepan. Combine beans and 6 cups water. Bring to a boiling state. Reduce heat.
Simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Let stand 1 hour or soak beans overnight. Drain and rinse beans.
