Heath Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. real butter
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Mix the first 3 ingredients; cook to 290\u00b0.
    Stir constantly. Cook to a golden brown.
    Pour out onto cookie sheet.
    Spread out as it cools.
    Blot up excess oil with paper towel.
    Melt the chocolate chips; spread over top.
    Break into pieces.
