Meat Balls In Sauce For Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. dried bread crumbs
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. basil, crumbled
    2 Tbsp. minced parsley
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground pepper
    2 Tbsp. oil
    4 c. tomato sauce
    1/2 lb. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Combine beef, bread crumbs, garlic, parsley, basil, egg, salt and pepper.
    Mix thoroughly and shape into balls 1 1/2-inches in diameter.
    Melt oil in a saucepan.
    Brown the meat balls lightly on all sides.
    Drain off the fat.
    Add tomato sauce; cover and simmer 40 minutes.
    Serve over spaghetti and pass the cheese.
