Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. boiling water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco.
    Beat eggs in one at a time.
    Add flour and milk alternately, mixing well after each addition.
    Mix soda, boiling water and flavorings.
    Pour in greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes without opening oven.
