Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 Cups sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 Cup shortening
    1 1/2 Cup sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 cup butter milk
    1/3 cup hot water
    1/2 Cup Hershey cocoa
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking soda,
    baking powder, and salt; set aside. Cream shortening, add sugar gradually, beating thoroughly after each addition. Add vanilla, then well beaten eggs; beat until light and fluffy. Beat in flour mixture alternating with milk. Mix cocoa and hot water to form a smooth paste; beat into batter. Pour into greased and floured pans (3 - 8 inch or 2 - 9 inch) and bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0. Cool.
    Frost with chocolate frosting.
