Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Melt butter over low heat; add brown sugar.
    Cool.
    Add egg. Sift together dry ingredients and add to sugar and butter.
    Stir in vanilla; mix.
    Add pecans.
    Spread in 8-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
