Strawberry Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. strawberries, cut in halves
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. Bisquick baking mix
    1/2 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Mix strawberries and sugar; set aside. Mix Bisquick baking mix, milk, sugar and melted butter.
    Spread in an ungreased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
    Remove from pan; cool.
    Cut in pieces.
    Split each piece.
    Spoon strawberries on bottom layer.
    Put top on and add remaining strawberries and whipped cream over top of each piece.
