Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 green bell peppers
    1 c. cold cooked/browned ground beef
    1 c. chopped tomatoes
    1 c. boiled rice
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. peas and/or diced carrots (if desired)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0. Wash peppers. Cut a slice from stem end and remove all white pulp and seeds. Mix all other ingredients and place this stuffing into the peppers. Place peppers in baking dish. Add 1 cup HOT water in bottom of dish. Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes or until peppers are tender.
