Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3 1/2 c. plain flour
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Add flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla.
    Knead a small amount at a time and roll out thinly.
    Cut into halves.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes on greased cookie sheet.
