Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. Karo
    4 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. soda
Preparation
    Cook sugar, Karo and water until it forms hard ball when tested in water.
    Add peanuts and cook until caramelized.
    Remove from heat.
    Add salt, vanilla, margarine and soda.
    Stir until frothy.
    Pour on a buttered cookie sheet.
    Don't touch after pouring until cold.
    Break into pieces.
