Okra And Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 or 4 slices bacon
2 c. freshly sliced okra
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
Preparation

Cook bacon in an iron skillet at medium-high heat until crispy. Remove from heat, drain and blot bacon with paper towel.
Wipe grease with paper towel after pouring out of skillet.
Then at medium-high heat, put okra in skillet and cook until okra starts to lightly brown, stirring constantly; then add the bacon and tomatoes with liquid.
Cook at medium-low until okra is tender.
Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Mixture will thicken.
