Veronica'S Green Beans Spanish Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. green beans or 2 (16 oz.) cans French-cut green beans
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 garlic cloves
    2 pimentos or 1 small jar
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook beans (1-inch pieces) in water for 10 minutes (canned beans need no precooking).
    Drain.
    Heat garlic in olive oil until brown, then discard.
    Add pimentos to oil; stir.
    Add parsley, salt and pepper.
    Add beans, cover and cook for 5 minutes (or until tender) over low heat.
    Makes 6 servings.
