Baked Lemon Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 scant c. sugar
    1/4 c. cold water
    2 eggs, separated
    1 c. milk
    1/3 c. flour
    grated rind and juice of 1 lemon (1/4 c.)
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar and grated rind.
    Add cold water and beaten egg yolks.
    Add milk, juice and butter.
    Beat egg whites stiff and lightly fold into batter.
    Place into buttered 8-inch square baking dish and place in pan of hot water.
    Bake 40 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Serves 4.
