Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising meal
    3 eggs, well beaten
    8 oz. cream-style corn
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    2 large pods hot green peppers, chopped
    1 large sweet pepper, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 c. grated Colby cheese or Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together, except cheese.
    Pour 1/2 of batter into a well-greased and floured skillet.
    Sprinkle in cheese (make sure none of the cheese touches the edge of the pan), then pour in rest of batter.
    Cook at 375\u00b0 until golden brown, 45 to 50 minutes.
