Strawberry Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 boxes strawberry Jell-O
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    2 boxes frozen strawberries
    1 can (2 c.) crushed pineapple
    2 bananas, mashed
    1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water and frozen strawberries; stir until strawberries are thawed and mixture begins to thicken.
    Add pineapple and bananas to cooled mixture; mix thoroughly.
    Pour 1/2 into oblong pan.
    Refrigerate until set, the spread with sour cream.
    Pour other half of Jell-O mixture on top; return to refrigerator to set until firm.
