Artichoke Strata - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
    1/2 c. chopped green onions
    1 Tbsp. melted margarine
    3 slices white bread, cubed
    3/4 c. (3 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 (14 oz.) can artichoke hearts, drained and quartered
    1 (4 oz.) jar diced pimento, drained
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 c. milk
    dash of salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Saute mushrooms and green onions in margarine until tender (2 or 3 minutes); drain and set aside.
    Layer half each of bread cubes, sauteed vegetables, cheese, artichokes and pimento in a lightly greased 9-inch quiche dish.
    Repeat layers.
