Magic Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. water
    3 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Boil 1 tablespoon sugar, cornstarch and water together until clear.
    Cool.
    Beat egg whites, salt and vanilla until soft peaks form.
    Gradually add 6 tablespoons sugar.
    Beat well.
    Spoon onto pie filling and brown at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
