Norwegian Gold Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    1 1/3 c. sifted flour
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    2 Tbsp. Nesselrode (Raffetto brand)
Preparation
    Mix butter and flour in bowl 5 minutes on high speed.
    On low speed, add eggs, one at a time, blending each in turn slowly. Sift sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Add gradually to creamed mixture.
    Add extract and Nesselrode.
    Mix 2 minutes.
