Walnut Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/4 c. ground walnuts
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg, beaten
    cold water
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients and cut in shortening.
    Add egg and cold water to make stiff dough.
    Chill; roll and bake as for plain pastry.
