Paige'S Pretzels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
4 c. flour
1 tsp. lite salt (optional)
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Egg Beater, beaten
nonfat cooking spray
coarse salt
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
In
a large bowl, dissolve yeast in
1 1/2 cups warm water. Add 4 cups flour, lite salt and sugar. Mix well.
On a lightly floured surface, knead the mixture well with your hands.
Roll pieces of dough into any shapes you like. Place them on a
cookie sheet that has been sprayed with a nonfat cooking spray.
In a small bowl, beat Egg Beater.
Brush the tops of the dough with the Egg Beater. Sprinkle with coarse salt.
Bake the pretzels at 425\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. This is a great recipe for the kids to make!
Yields 1 1/2 dozen big soft pretzels.
