Cream Cheese Nut Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. cream cheese
    1 stick oleo
    1 c. flour
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    2/3 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Dough can be made ahead of time and frozen.
    Cream together the cream cheese and 1 stick of oleo.
    Add 1 cup of flour.
    Mix and make into a ball.
    Chill.
    Filling consists of one beaten egg, to which is added 3/4 cup brown sugar.
    Mix well.
    Add the salt, vanilla and melted butter; mix.
    Then add the chopped nuts.
    Mix all together.
    Divide the chilled dough into 24 balls.
    Each ball makes one tart shell.
    Fill at least 1/2 full with filling.
    Pan measures 1 3/8 on bottom and 1 7/8 on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour or until shell is golden brown.
    Check after 20 minutes.
