Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. onion
1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. diced ham or bacon
5 eggs
1 egg yolk
2 1/2 c. light cream
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
2 dashes cayenne pepper
dash of white pepper
1 c. grated Swiss cheese
Preparation

Line 10-inch pan with pastry.
Bake 8 to 9 minutes at 400\u00b0. Cook onion in butter until transparent.
Mix with ham.
Beat eggs and egg yolk, light cream and seasonings.
Add to ham mixture. Pour into pastry shell.
Top with cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until set.
