Beer Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. flour
    2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans chicken broth
    2 cans hot water
    1 pt. half and half
    1 (16 oz.) jar cheese
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 bottle beer
    touch of garlic powder
    1/4 c. chives
Preparation
    On low to medium heat on stove, melt butter.
    Stir in flour until dissolved.
    Add remaining ingredients except chives.
    Stir constantly until smooth and creamy.
    Add chives.
    Simmer for 15 minutes.
