Bread And Butter Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 Slices Bread (from a small loaf, buttered
    1\\2 oz. Orange or Lemon Peel, finely chopped
    2 oz. Currant
    2 1\\2 oz.(fluid) Double Cream
    2 oz. Sugar
    1\\2 small Lemom Rind, grated
    3 Eggs
    Nutmeg, freshly grated
Preparation
    Preheat oven 350\u00b0 Cut each slice of buttered bread in half, leaving crust on.
    Layer bread on the bottom of baking dish. Sprinkle the peel and half the currrants. Cover with another layer of buttered bread.
    Add the remaining currants. Mix milk and cream, stir in sugar and lemon. Wisk eggs in seperate bowl.
    The add them to the milk mixture. Pour over bread. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake for 30-40 min. Serve Warm.
