Can'T Beat Me Coffee Cake(Heritage Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. salt
    5 c. flour
    1 c. shortening or oleo
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 pkg. yeast
    a little sugar
    1 c. warm milk
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix salt, flour, and shortening as pie crust.
    Soak 1 pkg. yeast in warm water and add a little sugar.
    Then combine warm milk eggs and vanilla.
    Mix ingredients for all three mixtures together.
    Refrigerate overnight or when needed.
    Divide dough. Let rise 2 hours before baking.
