Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes (do not thaw)
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    2 c. American cheese, grated
    1/2 stick margarine, melted
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    8 oz. sour cream
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 c. corn flakes
    1/2 c. margarine, melted
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in mixing bowl and mix.
    Place in 9 x 13-inch casserole dish and top with corn flakes, mixed with melted margarine.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
