Caramel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    3 eggs, separated
    1 c. sour milk
    2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar, butter, egg yolks and 2 tablespoons of the milk until
    light and fluffy.
    Add 2 cups flour and remaining milk, alternating.
    Add
    soda
    and
    salt\tto
    the last 1/2 cup flour and carefully\tblend into cake mixture. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites
    and
    vanilla.
    Last, stir in nuts.\tBake in oblong pan or in 2 (9-inch) layer pans for 35 to 40 minutes in 325\u00b0 oven.
    Frost with Seafoam Frosting.
