Fruit Bowl Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. unsweetened fruit punch flavored drink mix
    1/2 tsp. salt
    10 c. popped corn
    1 1/2 c. Trix cereal
Preparation
    In a large Dutch oven, combine sugar and light syrup; stir constantly until mixture comes to a full boil.
    Boil 1 minute. Stir in flavored drink mix and salt until they dissolve. Immediately stir in popcorn; toss until evenly coated and gently toss with cereal.
    Spread on greased cookie sheet until cool and hard.
    Cut into bite size pieces.
    Makes 11 cups of snack mix.
