Apple Crumb Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 7 tart apples (5 c.)
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust (deep dish)
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
    1/3 c. sugar
    3/4 c. plain flour
    6 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Pare, core and cut up apples.
    Arrange in pie crust.
    Combine 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Sprinkle over apples.
    Mix 1/3 cup sugar with the flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until done.
    Cool.
    Serve with ice cream, whipped cream or sharp Cheddar cheese.
