Chocolate Cherry Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. cocoa
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Spread pie filling in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa, soda and salt.
    In another bowl, mix water, oil, vinegar and vanilla.
    Add liquid mixture to dry mixture and stir just to moisten.
    Pour batter over cherries. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Cool 10 minutes in the pan.
    Invert on large platter.
    Serve with ice cream or whipped topping.
