Cream Nut Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. white sugar
    1 c. white syrup
    1 Tbsp. real butter
    1 lb. chopped English walnuts
    3 c. light cream
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil sugar, syrup and cream until it forms a soft ball when tested in cold water.
    Remove from heat, add butter and beat until it thickens.
    Add nuts and vanilla.
    When nearly ready to set, pour into buttered loaf pan to cool.
    Slice and cut into squares.
