Chocolate-Peanut Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 (1 oz.) sq. semi-sweet chocolate
3 large eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1 (12 oz.) jar salted dry roasted peanuts
1 (9-inch) frozen deep dish pie shell
Preparation

In a heavy small saucepan over low heat, heat chocolate, stirring occasionally, until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
In a large bowl, mix eggs, sugar, melted chocolate and corn syrup until smooth. Stir in peanuts. Pour into the frozen pie shell. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 to 65 minutes or until a knife comes out clean. Cool pie completely.
Brush top with 1 tablespoon of corn syrup for attractive sheen. Makes 12 servings.
