Posh Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. yellow squash, sliced
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
Preparation
    Cook squash in boiling salted water until tender; drain and cool.
    Combine mayonnaise, cheese, onion, eggs, salt and pepper. Stir well.
    Add squash, stirring gently.
    Pour into lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Combine bread crumbs and butter. Spoon over squash mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 6.
