Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

green tomatoes, sliced 1/4-inch thick
1 egg
1 c. milk
1 c. flour or cornmeal
pinch of salt
pepper
Preparation

Heat vegetable oil in pan. Mix egg and milk. Dip sliced tomatoes in egg mixture, then in flour or cornmeal. Place in frying pan. Brown on both sides. Serve hot.
