Seven Minute Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    2/3 c. white Karo syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    dash of cream of tartar
Preparation
    Put ingredients in a double boiler and mix with the mixer on high, while heating until icing peaks.
    Remove from heat.
    Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and spread over any cake.
