Boiled Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. canned milk
    1 large egg
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    2 c. uncooked rice (long grain)
    6 1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Bring water to boil, add rice; cover tightly and simmer for 25 to\t30
    minutes,
    until water is gone.
    Add 1 cup whole milk, sweetened with 1/2 cup sugar.
    Cook, uncovered, continuously until milk is absorbed.
    Remove from heat.
    Add prepared mixture of milk, egg, sugar and flavors to cooked rice.
    More milk may
    be used
    if too thick;
    (optional) add 1/2 cup raisins.
    Pour pudding into bowl and cool.
