Herb Dumpling Chicken Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (4 1/2 to 6 lb.) chicken, cut into pieces
1 whole carrot
3/4 lb. small white onions
1 whole black peppercorn
1 celery stalk
1 whole clove
2 tsp. salt
2 c. diagonally sliced, pared carrots
all-purpose flour
1 tsp. paprika
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. celery seed
2 tsp. poppy seed
1 tsp. instant minced onion
2 c. Bisquick
1 c. milk
Preparation

Place chicken in large Dutch oven with 1 whole carrot, 1 onion, celery stalk and seasonings.
Cover with hot water.
Simmer 1 1/2 hours or until fork-tender.
