One Dish Meal - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    6 c. sliced potatoes
    1 c. diced celery
    1 c. diced green pepper
    1/2 c. diced onion
    2 c. tomato juice
    2 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown and drain ground beef.
    Place in a 6-quart casserole. Layer potatoes, onion, pepper, celery salt and pepper.
    Then pour tomato juice and water into casserole.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 2 hours until potatoes are fork-tender.
    Remove lid last 1/2 hour to reduce liquid.
    This will cook faster if ingredients are stirred before cooking.
