Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Mix in brown sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Stir in next three ingredients.
    Spread thin layer of batter in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle nuts and chips over layer.
    Top with remaining batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes and then at 300\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
