Georgia Peach Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10-inch) double crust (unbaked)
    1 large (29 oz.) can peaches in syrup
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. reserved peach syrup
    3 eggs
    1/3 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Drain peaches, reserving 3 tablespoons syrup.
    Cut peaches in small pieces.
    Place in large bowl.
    Combine cornstarch and 2 to 3 tablespoons sugar.
    Add 3 tablespoons reserved peach syrup.
    Add remaining sugar, eggs and buttermilk.
    Mix well.
    Stir in melted butter and vanilla.
    Pour over peaches and stir until peaches are coated.
