French Hot Chocolate - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sq. unsweetened baking chocolate, broken or chopped
    3 oz. (3 sq.) bittersweet or semi-chocolate, broken or chopped
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 1/2 c. milk
    2 c. light cream, or half and half, or heavy whipping cream
    3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Combine the chocolates, sugar, milk and cream in a saucepan over medium heat.
    Stir frequently with a wire whisk or wooden spoon until the chocolate melts and the sugar dissolves.
    Heat until just under the boiling point.
    Remove from the heat and beat in a blender or with a rotary beater until smooth and frothy.
    Add the vanilla and serve hot.
