Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup sugar
    1/2 cup white corn syrup
    1 cup roasted salted peanuts
    1 tsp butter or margarine
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 tsp baking soda
Preparation
    In a 1-1/2 quart casserole dish, stir sugar and syrup. Microwave on high 4 minutes.
    Stir in peanuts; microwave on high 3 to 5 minutes until light brown.
    Add butter and vanilla to syrup; microwave on high 1 to 2 minutes more.
    Peanuts will be light brown and syrup hot.
    Add baking soda and gently stir.
