Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
5 eggs
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together. Add butter and Crisco, then beaten eggs and milk. Beat at medium speed. Add vanilla. Bake in large spring-form pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Start in cold oven. Punch holes in your cake and let some of icing soak in before it gets thick (right after taken off stove).
