Marinated Mushrooms - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. small, fresh mushrooms
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1 tsp. oregano
1/3 c. wine vinegar
1 c. olive or vegetable oil
Preparation

Trim the ends from the stems of the mushrooms.
Wash them quickly; dry immediately and cut each mushroom in half.
Mix salt, pepper, oregano, wine vinegar and oil together.
Add the mushrooms and toss until all the pieces are well coated.
Let stand at room temperature for 4 hours.
Serve with picks as a cocktail accompaniment or as a relish.
