Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. flour
    1 c. water
    3 egg yolks
    1 lemon, grated rind and juice
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
    3 egg whites
    6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Combine 1 cup sugar, flour and a \"little\" of the water.
    Mix until smooth.
    Beat egg yolks; add to sugar mixture.
    Stir well. Add remaining water.
    Cook over hot water until thick, stirring constantly.
    Cover; cook 10 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Add lemon rind, juice, salt and butter or oleo.
    Mix well.
    Pour while hot into (chilled) pie crust.
    Whip egg whites until stiff, but not dry.
    Add sugar gradually, beating constantly.
    Swirl on pie.
    Bake in moderately low oven at 325\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
