Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1 c. water
    3 c. sugar
    1 lb. raw peanuts
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Grease 2 cookie sheets.
    In saucepan, add the Karo syrup, water and sugar.
    Using a candy thermometer, heat the ingredients to 270\u00b0.
    Add the peanuts and continue heating to 300\u00b0.
    Remove from heat and add the butter and vanilla.
    Then add the baking soda and salt, stirring and pouring quickly onto the greased cookie sheets.
